The Oracle serves as Advisor to Oracle Trend, the company which provides on line educational and information services to subscribers. The founder attended Baylor University and was a member of the Baylor golf team. He obtained an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance in 1984. Wright passed the CPA exam in 1984 and completed an MBA from Baylor in 1986. He previously served as a Senior Tax Specialist for KPMG; competed on the mini-golf tour in the U.S. and Europe; was a leading sales professional for Huntington Homes; and served as Regional Sales Manager for Beazer Homes and History Maker Homes two of the premier national volume home builders. Most recently he served as a Division President for the fastest growing homebuilder in America, . He began the design of his technical trend system in 1990 which was refined over the next five years. For the past 13 years he has been trading utilizing the signals which comprise The Oracle Trend. 

Melvin E. Horton CEO

Mel Horton serves as CEO and on the board of directors of The Oracle Advisor, Inc. and is a co-founder of The Oracle Trend.    He also serves as President of AML Advisors a firm engaged in consulting, sales, and marketing advice to institutional and corporate clients for private securities distribution. He has over 30 years of experience in sales and management positions in the securities industry with broad experience in trading strategies, portfolio management, and trend analysis.   He served with a number of public and private firms Bache & Company, Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb, EF Hutton & Company, Shearson, and Smith Barney.   Horton previously was a Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Private Client Group of Southwest Securities, Inc. (NYSE) and was a member of the Management Committee.

He was a founding partner of UMT Holdings, LP, United Development Funding, Inc. and UMT Advisors, Inc. real estate finance companies headquartered in Dallas, Texas. He served as Executive Vice President of UMT Funding Services, LP and UMT Advisors, Inc. where his primary responsibility was the distribution of public and private securities through members of the National Association of Securities Dealers. United Mortgage Trust is a public Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) engaged in mortgage lending in niche markets.
